Sydney NSW, 2007 -2008

The Public Art Strategy was developed through analysis of the site’s historical context, pedestrian movement patterns, views and sightlines and public space use.

Artscape was engaged to develop a strategy to guide the incorporation of public art and an historical interpretative scheme into the public boardwalk space of a residential development on Sydney Harbour.

The Public Art Strategy was developed through analysis of the site’s historical context, pedestrian movement patterns, views and sightlines and public space use. Artist Braddon Snape was selected to develop a public art response that explored the notion of the boardwalk as an edge zone between water and land.
